Deputy Minister for Policy and Programs Introduced to Ministry of Mines staff

By the proposal of Ministry of Mines and approval of the Presidential Office, Mr Ahamd Jawid Sadat was introduced as Deputy Minister for Policy and Programs to Ministry of Mines (MoM) staff by His Excellency. Wahidullah Shahrani the Minister of Mines, and recently began his work.

During the introductory ceremony, the Minister of Mines said “This post was established in the Ministry structure in 2010 and approved by the Presidential Office.” He added that “Creating mining policies and their observation, making regulations, encouragement of home and

foreign investments in the mining sector, establishment of strategic relations, and legal services are the duty of this role”, the Minister said

Acting Director for Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission (IARCSC) and Head of the Appointment Board briefed the gathering on civil services appointment processes, and appreciated the activities of MoM during the last one and half years, and wished Mr. Sadat success.

Mr. Sadat thanked the Minister of Mines for his trust in him, and promised to fulfill all of the assigned responsibilities in full honesty.

Before, Mr Ahmad Jawed worked as head of the Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission, he graduated from Polytechnic University, and has a degree in Management from Kent University and gained Masters from Swansea University in Britain.
